We have had a very successful Science week!
This year's theme was 'connections', the children have been busy exploring a range of experiments and investigations. Reception have taken part in a range of experiments looking at melting and freezing. Year 1 have been using felt tip pens to explore chromatography and creating bubble snakes with food colouring. Year 2 have been making their own habitats for worms and using electrical circuits. Year 3 have compared a range of soils and created magnetic superhereos, Year 4 have looked into the growth of yeast and created 'fizzy colours'. Year 5 have made and tested parachutes looking into gravity and air resistance. Year 6 have used clay to re-create the lungs and created a presentation about the circulatory system. Thank you to all the parents that came to visit our Science week display on Friday. The children have had a fantastic week being curious and creative scientists!
