The progression of skills throughout school allows children to build on prior knowledge and enables them, as they progress through the school, to express themselves in a variety of media using technology.

Internet and online safety play an important role within our computing curriculum. We actively engage the children in developing their understanding of how to use the internet safely.  We believe children need to be aware of the world around them and be able to make smart decisions. Through our E-safety sessions, taught each half-term, we encourage children to ask questions and be aware of aspects of the online world that they may not always be actively thinking about.

Outside of their lessons, children have the opportunity to attend various IT based clubs if it is something they are interested in: these include coding, graphic design Microbit and film making.
