DT Curriculum Day
Children in Year 6 tried a variety of dips and crudities as part of their DT curriculum day that was related to our "Brilliant bodies" topic this half-term.
Students used terminology for describing flavours and foods, and they used it to rate the dips they had tried. The kids then adapted the hummus recipe by carefully choosing the ingredients to make a variety of hummus flavours to compare. Also, they prepared a platter with a variety of crudities, coleslaw, and hummus that was nutritionally balanced and was ready to be tasted by parents at the end of the day.
