Our School Community
At St Mary & All Saints CE Primary School, we believe it takes a whole community to educate a child. In line with our foundational vision to "Let Our Light Shine," our school does not sit in isolation—we are deeply rooted within our vibrant local area, our church network, and wider global partnerships.
We work collaboratively with parents, local residents, and organisations to create a warm, supportive, and outward-looking environment where our pupils learn the true value of making a meaningful difference to the world around them.

Our parent body is our most vital asset. We maintain an open-door policy and actively encourage families to be part of daily school life.
The PTA (Friends of SMAS): Our fantastic Parent-Teacher Association organises wonderful community events throughout the year—from the Summer Fair to the Christmas Fair—raising vital funds to enhance our children's school resources.
Parent Volunteers: Whether helping with reading in the classroom, sharing career insights, or accompanying us on educational trips, our parents bring invaluable energy and diverse skills into our school

Our Church & Spiritual Links
As a Church of England Primary School, we cherish our deep theological, pastoral, and historical links with our local parish church.
Regular Worship: We regularly visit the church for seasonal services, including Harvest, Christmas, and Easter. Our local clergy also frequently visit the school to lead collective worship.
Values in Action: Our Christian values underpin how we treat our neighbours, teaching our children the importance of community care, charity, and mutual respect.
Local & Global Partnerships
We encourage our pupils to be active global citizens who understand that they have a voice and a role to play in society.
Community Outreach: Our school choir regularly performs at local events, and our pupils take part in local environmental initiatives such as neighbourhood litter picks.
Charitable Giving: Our School Council leads termly fundraising events for both local Buckinghamshire charities and global relief efforts, empowering children to see the tangible impact of their kindness.
Class Community Action Projects
Project Spotlight: Year 1 Intergenerational Storytelling
As part of their community project, our Year 1 classes (Garnet and Emerald) have been building wonderful intergenerational friendships with the elderly residents at Beaconsfield Heights Care Home.
The children visited the care home across two separate afternoons to read aloud and share their recent story-writing projects. This beautiful initiative not only boosted the children's reading confidence and communication skills, but brought immense joy, smiles, and meaningful connection to the residents.
